My Testimony

My Grand Daddy was a Baptist Deacon and my Daddy was a Baptist Pastor. I have a great Christian Heritage. I was born and raised in a Christian home which made it difficult to get saved because I was around it all the time.

But on July 12, 1957 [49 years ago after hearing my Daddy preach a sermon on Lazarus and the rich man.  How the rich man could not do anything to get his brothers out of hell, then I realize that there was nothing that I Mom and Daddy could do for me either. So at the age of 10 I trusted Christ as My Savior. After I was saved my Daddy baptized me and I served in my local church and on July 12 again but this time in 1964 at the age of 16 while in 10th grade of High School I surrendered to Preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

After graduating from High School I began Bible College at BBC in Springfield, MO. I left school after my first year because of hardship and it would be several years later before I was able to go back to school where I transferred to Faith Bible Theological Seminary [ a ministry of Faith Baptist Church in Milton, Florida where I graduated with my Associate and bachelor degrees..

Briefly, I met my wife Sandy at the hospital where we both worked in Springfield, MA. She was born and raised Catholic. I won her to my heart with my Southern charm and then I led her to Christ which other than my own Salvation was the happiest day of my life . I would experience another great day in our lives when our Son, Dan was saved
at the age of 12. Sandy and I have been married 32 years this October 25, 06.

It is such a great honor and privilege to serve our dear, sweet, Lord Jesus Christ out of our Local Church, Mountain View Baptist Church in Holyoke, MA.
